Dr. Park-Adams provides individual counseling for adults using a Bowen Family Systems perspective, which emphasizes understanding emotional patterns, relationship dynamics, and the ways family and relational systems shape individual functioning. Therapy focuses on increasing self-awareness, emotional regulation, and the ability to respond thoughtfully rather than reactively in relationships.

Her work is collaborative, practical, and respectful of each client’s cultural, relational, and family context.

Dr. Park-Adams offers couples and family counseling grounded in Bowen Family Systems Theory. This approach helps couples and families better understand multigenerational patterns, emotional processes, and relationship dynamics that contribute to ongoing conflict or distress.

Rather than focusing on blame or quick fixes, therapy emphasizes increasing differentiation, reducing emotional reactivity, and strengthening the capacity for thoughtful communication and connection.
